I actually liked this movie. the trailer makes it look like trash, glad i watched the movie first before this trailer... Nicolo 🥺 Can his name get anymore adorable 😭. This has endless possibilities. They can create a series focusing on each character with their lives from age 20 or something. They could explore Lykon and give more details. Heck, they can include multiple story lines of what happened with their grandchildren from their family centuries back! This is exciting. Something happened to Walt in a battle and we need to know what made him the man holding on to some horrible memory. Omg I love these scenes so much 😂😂. I want to see more of this on my tv but for the british, the brits are always underrated during wars like these and dont get enough recognition for the sacrifice they make.

Good enough movie, don't set your expectations too high and you'll be fine. The film however felt like an expensive TV pilot for a series and the story sets itself up as if it could be a tv serties.

Imagine watching 'Rogue' after watching this. Till now I have liked only 3 movies: Interstellar, world war z and this is the 3rd one. Please create a series next time and start with prequels. I enjoyed this movie on my first viewing when it was released on Netflix back in May 2020. Now after watching my 2nd viewing of this movie The Old Guard again tonight I'd say that it resonated with me even more because I knew what I was walking into with regards the story & the over all performances of the actor's along with how the director went about shooting this movie. I could go on about the premise of the plot but i wont & instead commend how well this diverse cast of actors performed & how that choice of actor's gave this movie a more broader appeal, but I won't. Instead I'll say that if you have Netflix then do watch it & if not find a way to watch it as this movie punches above it's weight even within this type of genre. The premise of this movie is not a new one but this take on this type of genre is definitely a more human & humane approach & it somehow crams in a hell of a lot of information without you as the viewer feeling overwhelmed by it all. If anything by the time the End Credits are over with I was left feeling i wanted to see & know more about all of these character's & that's what your looking for with any movie. I hope this movie does get a follow up as the cast of the protagonist do a great job of making you root for them. Yet it's a movie that doesn't shy away from what these protagonist character's feel about what they have done to survive. I'll say no more & leave it up to you to decide!
